Welcome to Core Connections: A Lifestyle Blog where fitness, food, faith, and physical therapy come together for a life in motion! I’m so happy you’re here, and I can’t wait to share a little bit about myself and what this blog is all about.

Hi, I’m Dr. Charlotte, a physical therapist and owner of Core Focus Physio & Wellness who is passionate about helping people move better and feel their best. Through my work as a PT, I’ve been lucky to connect with so many amazing individuals, guiding them toward healthier, more active lives. Physical therapy isn’t just my profession; it’s what I truly love doing. There’s nothing better than seeing someone achieve a milestone they’ve been working so hard to reach.
Living a Balanced Life
When I’m not in the clinic, I’m all about finding ways to live a balanced and joyful life. Fitness is a big part of that for me. Whether it’s a quick morning workout or a calming evening yoga session, staying active helps me feel grounded and energized. I’ll be sharing tips and routines that make fitness approachable and fun—because it should fit into your life, not take it over.
Another thing I love is food. Good, healthy food that’s actually enjoyable to eat! I spend a lot of time experimenting in the kitchen, finding new recipes that are both nourishing and delicious. On this blog, I’ll share my favorite meal ideas and tricks to make eating well something you look forward to.
My faith is also a big part of who I am. It gives me purpose and keeps me motivated, especially when life gets busy or challenging. I want this blog to reflect that side of me too, offering encouragement and positivity along the way.

I focus on the people and activities that support me in becoming my best self. Mental health is a vital part of overall wellness, and adding joy and fun to daily life makes a big difference. I’d love to share my adventures and shenanigans to inspire new ideas, and I’d love to hear about yours too. Connect with me and share what you’ve tried—I’m always up for something new!
Starting the 75 Hard Challenge
To start things off in 2025, I’ve decided to take on the 75 Hard Challenge. If you haven’t heard of it, it’s a program designed to test your physical and mental grit. For 75 days, I’ll follow a nutrition plan (no cheat meals or alcohol), do two 45-minute workouts a day (one of them outdoors), drink a gallon of water daily, read 10 pages of a self-improvement book, and take a daily progress photo. It’s going to be tough, but I’m ready to give it my all.
Today is Day One, and I’m feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. I’ll be sharing my experience as I go—the wins, the struggles, and everything in between. My hope is that by sharing my journey, it might inspire you to tackle a challenge of your own or try something new that pushes you out of your comfort zone.
I’ll gather my results and reflections and share them throughout Core Connections as part of my daily journaling for 75 Hard.
Core Connections is a place for us to connect, grow, and learn from each other. Whether you’re here to get fitness tips, try new recipes, or just follow along with my adventures, I’m so glad you’ve stopped by. Let’s take on this journey together and make health and wellness something we can all enjoy!
